Before you arrive in Fiji, you will receive a Fiji passenger arrival card. This card will be provided by your Immigration Administration, Airline/Shipping Agent, or flight attendants/ship officials. Ensure both sides of the arrival card are fully completed for each passenger. Please tick 'yes' in the Customs Section if you are carrying any of the following into Fiji:
Certain goods may be prohibited or restricted upon entry into Fiji. Refer to the "Prohibited Imports and Exports" Regulations 1986 for more information.
Please refer to Concession Code 218, pages 794 to 795 of the 2012 HS Tariff Classification for information on the normal passenger allowance.
Items that are in your possession upon arrival for commercial purposes (e.g., samples, goods intended for sale, lease, hire, or exchange), professional or technical equipment, or other personal goods exceeding a total value of FJ$1000 must be declared. Remember to bring receipts for overseas purchases or Duty Free Shop items to determine the correct value.
Declare if you are carrying Fijian or foreign currency equivalent to $10,000 or more. Fill out the Border Currency Reporting form provided by the Customs Officer.
Present your completed Fiji Immigration Arrival card, passport, and other required documents to the Primary Line officer for immigration clearance.
Once cleared by Primary Line officers, proceed to the baggage collection area to collect your belongings.
The total quantity of duty-free items, including those purchased upon arrival, should be within the normal passenger allowance. Other dutiable goods exceeding this allowance will be subject to duty.
While passing through the baggage examination area, produce your completed arrival card to the Customs Officer, and orally declare any dutiable goods or prohibited and restricted items.
Carrying prescription medicines or controlled drugs? Ensure you have a prescription from your physician, confirming their necessity.
Declare all risk goods, including plants, animals, food, and more, to Biosecurity Officers at the Borders to prevent potential harm to Fiji's environment and industries.
The importation of firearms requires an import permit from Fiji Police. Prohibited weapons include flick knives, swordsticks, knuckle-dusters, and any items designed to appear as another object. Certain goods are prohibited unless accompanied by approved documentation or treatment.
Your personal items such as clothing, jewelry, cameras, and laptops are duty-free if owned, used, and intended for personal use
Tobacco and alcoholic beverages are duty-free under specific conditions and quantities. Cigarettes, cigars, and tobacco allowances are limited. To avail of this allowance, the traveler must be at least 18 years old and meet the following criteria:

Any combination of the above, as long as it does not exceed the equivalent quantity determined by the allowance for liquor, wine, and beer.
Please ensure that you adhere to these allowances when bringing tobacco products and alcoholic beverages into Fiji. This information is provided as a guide, and travelers are encouraged to stay informed about any updates or changes to regulations.
Unaccompanied goods or baggage are not covered by normal passenger allowances and won't be allowed to land as such.
Currency restrictions apply; declare any amounts exceeding FJ$10,000 or equivalent.
Goods not qualifying for allowances are subject to Customs duty. Duty rates are determined by the Customs Tariff Act, along with VAT and Import Excise Duty for certain goods.
Importing dangerous drugs to Fiji, including cocaine, methamphetamines, and more, is prohibited and punishable.
Importing utensils for drug preparation, including bongs and pipes, is prohibited and carries heavy penalties.

Fiji enforces CITES regulations on certain plants and species, as well as products made from them.
Commercial goods are subject to duty and VAT. Declare them on your arrival card and to Customs Officers for proper clearance.
