How to apply for lost property?

Any property under no proper custody found at the terminal or anywhere at Nausori Airport is considered lost property at the airport. To claim your lost property found at the Suva-Nausori Airport, follow these instructions:

Documents Required:

Bring the following documents while claiming the lost property:

  • Boarding pass copy
  • Government-issued ID/Password copy
  • Detail of the item you want to claim

In case you are not the actual owner and coming on behalf of him/her, make sure to bring the following documents with you:

  • Letter of authorization to collect item on behalf of the actual owner
  • Government-issued photo ID card of the owner
  • Copy of the Government ID card of the authorized person
Important Guidelines
  • You must collect the item within 90 days from the date of loss and receive it by the airport authority.
  • After the expiration period of 90 days, the item will be disposed of as directed by the government or put up in the auction according to the guidelines.
  • For any further claim, Nausori Airport won’t hold any responsibility.
  • Perishable items are kept a maximum of 24 hours and thereafter you can’t claim them under lost and found services.
